The mountains are in southern Montana and northern Wyoming.  The range is part of the Crow Tribe’s traditional lands and their current day reservation. Pauline and I spent the day with friends traveling through the mountains and canyons. As we continued our journey, the mountains gave way to arid foothills of red clay. One day did not do this place justice.
