Pauline and I had never been to Arizona.  During her winter break from school (Pauline was an elementary school teacher), we made a trip to Tucson to visit friends.  We stayed at La Paloma Resort which overlooks Tucson and offered the opportunity for me to take some great night shots of the city.  We spent time in the Sonora Desert, Saguaro East and the Santa Catalina Mountains.  One of our favorite excursions was a day in Sabino Canyon.  Early in the morning, we took a trolley to the top of the canyon.  We spent the day with me walking and Pauline rolling down through the canyon in her wheelchair.
